An alleged mother and daughter shoplifting team appeared before Resident Magistrate Lyle Armstrong in the Spanish Town RM Court.

An alleged mother and daughter shoplifting team appeared before Resident Magistrate Lyle Armstrong in the Spanish Town RM Court.

The accused, Joan Williams along with her daughter Sanya Williams, were jointly charged for simple larceny.

 
Allegations are that the mother and daughter went to the Shopppers Fair Supermarket on Burke Road in Spanish Town on February 15, 2015 where they were observed by a security placing items in their bags. The items valued at $3600 includes a protex bath soap, 2 Pedia Sure, butter, Maggi Season Up, blackpepper, small Chef oil, tin milk among other items.
 
A CIB Report was requested by RM Armstrong and also their fingerprints taken. They will return to court on May 4, 2015 for sentencing.
