Kahpun teams up with Push a Yute Ent

We know music and entertainment is about flavors, mixtures, textures, pallets and taste. The world is shifting the world is eclectic and that has brought us closer to cultures sounds and boiling pots. I say this to say that most hit songs, shows or whatever is a mixture of culture and sounds. Its a mixture is past meets present. Its a mixture of talented people globally working together.
The new Ghanaian sensation Kahpun is doing just that. He has been working on a project with Push A Yute Ent Inc out of Jamaica. The same team that did (Mr Peppa EP, Simone Fruittree EP, Daville album) several projects and is known for curating sounds and brands. Vivian Thomas lead producer had this to say about Kahpun. “He is a very talented artist. He’s very receptive to our culture and sees the merger of talents as a big step for Reggae & Dancehall”.

Push A Yute has been known for honing these talented young acts. The company is renown for working with upcoming acts and making them into finished products. Tandra Jhagroo mixing engineer says its important that we respect the genre and these fusing of ideas and sounds. We are trying to stay somewhat true to each artist and there culture as well.

Kahpun had his album launch end of June in Wales with a follow up due in Ghana this July. We are looking forward for to the latest single from both these talented camps and individuals. They are completing the deluxe edition to the album out now titled “Dice”. The deluxe will have 3 more tracks and interview with both the artist and producer Vivian Thomas. Management is tight lipped about the deluxe and is focused on the album out now on all platforms.

Please continue to give support to the people who are trying to push the culture.
