Seven years ago, CALI P dropped his first mixtape “Listen 2 Dis” (a concept mixtape with 2 versions: one for the US mixed by WALSHY FIRE and a european version mixed by VINCZ LEE), which solidified his position as one of Europe’s top reggae talent’s.

As he moved to jamaica 4 years ago and now lives in Kingston, it was only natural that he linked up with jamaican based selector LIONTROD at EQUIKNOXX MUSIC studios, and they put together this 18 track dubplate mix.
Whereas his first free mixtape took several weeks to elaborate, this new project was created in one single day! – CALI P wanted to stick to the real Jamaican soundsystem culture by voicing the songs the way the originals did it: A microphone, a selection of riddimz, one take – and 2 hours later the project was done.

The Mix was released this morning on REGGAEVILLE’s official soundcloud. Download it for free and share it with your friends!
