Will Vybz Kartel make it to the launch of his latest Spice collabo, the saucily entitled ‘Conjugal Visit’? Maybe not, but there is great anticipation surrounding the Teacha’s latest combination song with Spice, coming five years after the monster Ramping Shop Billboard hit.
“We recorded it in 2009 and it was supposed to be a follow up to Ramping Shop, but we got so busy and the song was enjoying so much success it never happened,” Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, said.
After calling producer TJ of TJ Records, the song was rescued from the archives, and released recently. The song will be boosted by a video which will be released this week.
“There will be a video launch on Wednesday, November 5th at the Triple Century Club in New Kingston at 8 p.m. It’s a video you don’t want to miss,” Spice said.
She is hoping to replicate the success of ‘Ramping Shop’ which debuted at #96 on the Billboard R & B/Hip hop charts in 2009
