There is a new name sweeping the Jamaican entertainment landscape and that phenomenon is Tidal. This red hot rookie has been scorching the airwaves with ‘Squeeze My Girl’, a genuine club-rocker that makes him one of the hottest new artistes to have emerged locally in the past year.

Tidal, who recently inked a recording and booking deal with local powerhouse, Master One Productions, gained a legion of new fans with his powerful performance at the recent ‘St. Mary Mi Come From’ at Grays Inn Sports Complex where he unleashed the ‘Squeeze My Girl’ to numerous forwards, while his new song, Call Me, also generated a great reaction.

Navardo Graham, artistically known as “Tidal”, was born on September 24, 1982 in rural St. Mary. He was a quiet but a very active boy growing up in these countryside, doing most of the activities young, ambitious young men would do.  He found himself at a place where music became his comfort and so listening to music would captivate a huge part of his days.

This love and passion for music stemmed from his parent’s addiction to playing good music around the house. His biggest motivation is Buju Banton and at an early age of ten, Tidal, penned his first song with his fellow peers being his main stage.

In 2003, Tidal decided to take his musical career to a professional level. He generated the courage and stepped into a studio and unleashed his lyrical talent where he recorded his first single“ Ghetto Youths Cry”, for Tiger Records. The anticipation grew from the favorable responses he received from this single and so in 2004 he was motivated even more to proceed to higher heights. Tidal’s visions kept him focused as a young artiste and so in 2004, he found him self at the studio of his musical idol Buju Banton. He would later record demos, which helped to fuel him even more, especially after being complimented by Buju on his unprecedented talent.Tidal continues to fight the musical fight and as the years go by so is his musical career
growing.

Filled with a spirit of humbleness and a heart covered with patience, he didn’t record another single for four years as he committed himself to nurturing the growth of his talent and to develop a business sense of the musical industry. In 2008, after this musically short span of grooming, he would be graced with the long awaited success and gain a national
acknowledgement with his single “Smile” that was played on all airwaves nationwide.

The name “Tidal” was ringing in everyone’s ear so he later moved to record “Ball ground” and then
collaboration with Gyptian, entitled “Give it to me”, which was another smasher.  Tidal’s unique style and talent attracted the heart of Master One Productions’ CEO Jyorken Kennedy, who has pledged and dedicated himself to managing his career and to make him in the artiste he is destined to be. Tidal, now signed to Master One Productions label will
undoubtedly be delivering nothing but the best in the Music Industry.

The future looks promising for Tidal and as he continue his musical journey, making appearances on interviews, shows and
doing hit singles, keep in mind that Tidal will be doing music to touch the lives of others.
