Word sound power. An expression commonly heard within Caribbean culture. It means “we create through speech”. So be mindful of things said or things asked for. Well we have one artist by the name of “Lady Donna” who is a true believer of that theory. She is a singer, songwriter and poet hailing originally from the Jones Town Community. Her writing and words is a clear reflection of the times we live in.
Her latest project set for release is titled “International Big Up”. She speaks of the globe and the world being our place our planet. The words are uplifting while asking us to the listeners to take heed of life and the decisions we make. Mixtapes and radio personalities have already taken a liking to the message being delivered.
The single is set for release to the public on Novemeber 17th. She is in the middle of presently shooting the video, which will be on all platforms this Autumn.
