Anthony B arrested and released by cops in Trinidad @anthonybreggae @one876

Rastafarian singjay Anthony B ran out with the song, Good Cop, in front of 20,000 cheering fans yesterday, but soon found himself on the wrong side of the law because of an old unsettled debt for a promoter. He was released by order of the court at 4:15 a.m. The Court ordered that he pay Barry Lewis $7,000 US forthwith.

Court says the balance of $27,976.00 TT to be paid by Anthony B on or before June 30th with cost in the sum of $5,000.00 TT.

Fitzgerald Hinds appeared on behalf of Anthony B, and Michael Rooplal and Carina Jailal appeared for the claimant Barry Lewis.

 Court Marshals & police are on their way to the Hasely Crawford training grounds to arrest reggae singer Anthony B on absconding warrant. Sources say Anthony B failed to perform at a concert in Trinidad some time ago after he was paid $75,000 and later left Trinidad.

Anthony B to now appear before Justice Des Vignes at Court 20 @ Hall of Justice. He was held on a warrant pursuant to Absconding Debtors act

  Promoters in St. Kitts and Nevis are trying to track down Gyptian to recover monies paid over for a show in that country  last year which he failed to attend. The event was a charity event to raise money for a hospital in that country.
