Jamaica-born NBC’s The Voice contender Anita Antoinette was booted off The Voice as she went down to the wire Tuesday night and was not saved.
The writing was on the wall when she performed Passenger’s Let Her Go. The ill-advised move cost her a place in the top eight.
Ironically, Antoinette had posted on her Twitter page, “Tomorrow is soon to come, I am gonna hang up my reggae hat for a little bit… Sing some Eryka Badu or some Lauryn Hill if I make the Top 8″.
