LOVE TRIANGLE: “Gully Bop is married, if he dies, his wife is entitled to half of everything” – Amari

AMARI

Rags-to-riches deejay Gully Bop and social media blogger Amari are at it again.

Amari is not opposed to the idea of helping the Wuk Affa Mi deejay but feels that his spouse, Deborah Nicholson, ought to be first in line to do so.

“It’s not about being revengeful. Gully Bop is Nico and I don’t interfere in people’s marriages. If Gully Bop should pass on right now, his wife is entitled to everything, including his body,” she said.

When quizzed about his wife, Gully Bop, whose real name is Robert Malcolm, has said that he has not heard from Nicholson since he has been sick, but suggested that the marriage was not real.

“Deborah… Deborah Nicholson. A foreign she live. Mi nuh hear from her no time. … We never stand up in front of nuh pastor,” Gully Bop said.

Has Amari found herself in another love triangle with Gully Bop and another woman?

“Aunty Donna sent her letter to the wrong Angel, this Angel remembers. When I take time to reflect, I have to remember that Neko mash up mi life. Number one, mi de pon the street, never have nothing to eat, mi ask him to help me, him say no to b—–cleet. Gully Bop is Neko and I don’t interfere with people’s marriages,” she said.

She said that if Gully Bop were to pass on, “his wife, Debbie Nicholson, would be entitled to half of everything”.

“So why did they send for Amari?” she asked incredulously.

“The world seems to have forgotten that he is a married man. This will be A shock to them to read it, wait a minute, they forgot all this,” she said.

Amari “Dj Mona Lisa” lambasted the Wuk Affi Mi deejay accusing him of dabbling in the occult and consorting with an “iniquity worker”.

“Weh di (expletive deleted) yuh a call up mi name fah Donna […] Donna do not call mi name,” Amari shouted angrily during a online rant on Saturday.

A day earlier, social media commentator Donna ‘Aunty Donna’ Gowe, with the help of a pastor, had called out Shauna Chin and Amari, asking them to help purchase colostomy bags for Gully Bop who has been having health challenges.

During her online rant, Amari declared that she called Gully Bop’s pastor who turned out to be a “obeah man”. According to Amari, the pastor told her that he gave Gully Bop a “deliverance bath” but it was unsuccessful.

“At first, he gave me a story that he saw Gully Bop on the street side, but he didn’t tell me they had a relationship going on….upon talking to him further, he is Gully Bop’s spiritualist who has worked for him before in the past, and has done rituals, exorcism on him, to get rid of spirits,” she said.

She believes that although she feels obligated to help Gully Bop in the long term, but she will not allow herself to be bilked by anyone seeking to exploit the deejay.

“How the hell are you going to let your spirits put out a message to A’mari? That is beneficial to the spiritualist in so many ways, he is telling me he has a five bedroom house and he can provide a house for Gully Bop. Amari don’t deal with exploitation, I am about a long term plan so that the individual will not be dependent on others,” Amari stated.

However, Prophet Christopher Tate, who claims to be an ordained pastor of the Christ in Chris Healing and Deliverance ministries, said that there is no attempt to exploit Gully Bop.

“He is not doing too well, I am gonna have to take him into my care for a while. We put him through the surgery – with the help of evangelist Erma Savage – we had to buy a new kidney for him. After that, he got baptised earlier this year, but he is still struggling, a new convert, it is not easy for him to 100 per cent to get there, but the Lord bring me to him to complete him,” Prophet Tate told bounce876.com.

He said he was “rich two times in his life” and that he was no “iniquity worker”.

“Money is not the thing,” Prophet Tate said.

“He is living with his brother in a house in Grants Pen with his brother. He used to live with his mother but she is not well so she moved to St. Thomas. He needs a wider help that I cannot provide for him. He was living at a house but the house was sold, and he is homeless and that is not hygienic as he is on the streets. He needs food and a place to sleep,” he said.

According to Prophet Tate, Gully Bop has recorded a few unreleased gospel songs since his conversion to Christianity and that he can be a powerful messenger for God.

Prophet Tate and Aunty Donna have already fallen out and are at each other’s throats already since the Gully Bop issue flared up.

Amari, who is well known for her philanthropy, said she initially felt compassion for her former lover, but is doubtful of the good intentions of Prophet Tate and fellow blogger Aunty Donna.

“I got in touch with the pastor but the story had a twist to it. But I said to myself ‘hold on a minute’. Isn’t this man, Gully Bop, a married man? Why are you calling me? Aunty Donna doesn’t seem to be aware of this matter, she is only going after what she was told. They are making it seem as if Gully Bop spent all this money on me and Shauna Chin and these two exes need to come out and do for him, “ she said.

She said that while she was involved with Gully Bop, she had been financially responsible for Dem Nuh Bad like Me deejay for six months while he was in the United States.

“He only once bought me a dress for US$500, that’s all,” she said.

She claimed that she is over Bop and has moved on to better things as she has regained her “young life”.

“Gully Bop turned up at Aunty Donna and he turned up with a “pastor” saying that he needs help and the situation with his sickness, the bag….running out of bags and they went on a live. Aunty Donna called out me and Shauna Chin but she stayed on my name so we need to help Gully Bop. I realized that the whole Internet was flooded with this matter and that Amari needs to help Gully Bop,” she explained.

She said her fans are upset, and descended like a swarm of angry wasps on Aunty Donna. Amari contends that the messenger Aunty Donna’s letter must be “Returned to Sender”.

“When I look back, this is totally wrong and I can understand why my fans are offended. I respect Aunty Donna and I respect her work, I just believe that the letter was address to the wrong person. Wrong person. Wrong Address,” she said.

Amari, whose real name is Veniece Fung-Chung, said that she believes that although Gully Bop needs help, he is being “exploited”.

“There have been so many people who have come forth, plan to help him and then they disappear. I don’t know if it is his ungratefulness and his demeanour, or they just come for popularity, it’s not always about the money, sometimes they want to highlight themselves,” Amari complained.
