Dancehall star J Capri’s sudden death has triggered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI).

She is suspected to have died not directly from injuries to her brain but from bacterial infection (sepsis) which triggered massive renal failure (kidney), medical personnel theorise.

At least one member of the family of dancehall artiste J. Capri believes that her death could have been prevented had it not been for a key error made by the medical staff hours before her death. She reportedly passed away from a bacterial infection, 12 days after undergoing brain surgery after a terrible accident.
